Russell Willoughby, 93, died Nov. 10, 1996.
A retired aviation metalsmith with 30 years service at the Naval Air Station, Mr. Willoughby was a native of Ahoskie, N.C., and was predeceased by his wife, Clara Young Willoughby.
He was also a member of Oakdale Presbyterian Church of Norfolk and a past master of Kempsville Masonic Lodge (NU)196, Grice Commandery (NU)16, York Rite Bodies, Khedive Shrine Temple, Willis V. Fentress Masonic Lodge (NU)296. He also recently received his 50-year Masonic Lodge pin.
Survivors include his sons, Russell L. Willoughby of Virginia Beach and Mark K. Willoughby of Parker, Colo.; sisters, Jessie W. DeCamps of Chesapeake, Marion W. Latham of San Antonio, Texas, Gladys W. Menefee of Raleigh, N.C., and Claire W. Beatty of Richmond; brothers, Edward O. Willoughby Jr. of Suffolk and Carol C. Willoughby of Jersey City, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
